Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

FlicKey is a small macOS menu-bar utility that fixes text typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Your privacy is simple: it collects nothing.

We collect nothing

FlicKey does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no account or sign-in.

Everything stays on your Mac

Permissions

FlicKey requests macOS Accessibility permission solely to read the text it converts and type the corrected text back in place. It uses Apple Events only to read the active browser tab's URL for per-site language memory. These are used locally and for no other purpose.

Purchases

If you buy the one-time unlock, the payment is handled entirely by the platform you bought from (the Mac App Store via Apple, or our authorized reseller on the web). FlicKey never sees or stores your payment information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page, with the "Last updated" date above.
